Shelf flag
nounShelfIn Spanish Banderola
What is a shelf flag?
A narrow vertical printed strip, about 20 × 50 cm and usually double-sided, that hangs like a flag from an L-shaped rod clipped to an upper shelf. It hangs at right angles to the shelf, so shoppers spot it from a distance coming from either direction, and it marks the brand's zone or a category without covering the products.
“The shelf flag can be seen from the far end of the aisle.”
