Shelf talker
nounShelfIn Spanish Stopper
What is a shelf talker?
A rigid printed panel, board or PVC and roughly A5 in size, fixed to the shelf edge or the price rail so it stands perpendicular to the shelf and sticks out into the aisle. Shoppers walking down the aisle see it face-on. It does not move and never holds product; its only job is to stop the shopper.
Many pieces called shelf talkers or stoppers in store are really wobblers. Orientation and the arm tell them apart: a shelf talker is rigid and perpendicular to the shelf.
“From the end of the aisle, the first thing you see is the brand's shelf talker.”
